White Castle Launches Plant-Based Impossible Slider and a Tests a Limited Release of Dairy-Free Cheese
New from the "Slider Experts," White Castle's Impossible Slider has arrived. The Impossible Slider is crafted from a 100% plant-based patty, fresh bun, sautéed onions, cheddar cheese and pickle slices.
Intended to be a stand-alone dish with a unique flavor profile of its own (rather than a meatless copy of the signature beef White Castle Slider) the Impossible Slider is suitable for vegetarians.
White Castle is also currently using New York and New Jersey as a test market for dairy-free GoodPlanet cheddar cheese. Should the GoodPlanet dairy-free cheese test well, White Castle fans may be able to order the Impossible Slider with dairy-free cheese at a nearby location sometime soon.
